The candles are lit and the coffee is out, so despite what the Southern weather is telling us our surroundings are screaming at us that fall is coming! As summer slowly comes to an end, we are staring at the weather channel impatiently waiting to cross that finish line into a warm hug from your favorite sweater and bundle up for the fall. Just like the beautiful changing colored leaves, we are “falling” for this season’s must haves (and yes pun is intended.) Lets start with the colors of the fall, and fitting for this time of year one of the more popular shades you need to have hanging in your closet is a deep red or maroon. Though it can be considered a color that is a step on the wild side for some, it pairs so nicely with neutral tans, blush, browns, and black; as well as a perfect transition pulling the color straight out of the summer sunset and on to the leaves of the trees.
